Union Square News
Ruby Johnson
Union Square is in deep mourning, losing a dear loved one, friend and neighbor, Michael Shaw, who was a great soul, great worker and just a nice fellow who went out of his way to help someone despite the odds in his life.
Butch and I thought a lot of Michael, as well as others. We will truly miss him. However, we will feel his spirit every day as we pass by where he is laid to rest beside his uncle Kenny Shaw. They are having big fun enjoying the peace of that life – no more sorrow, pain and dealing with trash.
By the way, I wish people would stop throwing trash out on the roadside and on people’s property.
Where are you, Buzzy? I am running in a complaint contest and need your help to win. I need you to fly over Coosa County and see who is throwing out their trash on the side of the road and in people’s yards except their own.
Coosa County does have a landfill and a garbage pickup. Come on, trashy people. It’s time to pick up and be clean, you nasty old dirty people. The Sheriff’s Office has more important things to do besides picking up your mess!
Many people would be surprised to know how many people don’t read, and especially the newspaper, but want to know what’s going on, real facts, as the paper gives. They get on Facebook, etc., and get false information then run to someone who reads the papers and say, “I didn’t know that, I thought” and half of the people cannot read, or spell.
They are too busy texting their shorthand. I said “THEIR” shorthand. Some people are getting dumber and not wiser, because they won’t read, think they got it all together and don’t want anyone to teach them. It is a shame how this world has become.
Oh, I also need you, Buzzy, to fly over the post offices to check where my package is. The mail is getting worse and worse, and nothing is being done about it. I believe the mail is not being delivered on some Saturdays and very late other days. If anyone else is having problems with the mail, please help me.
Happy birthday to all April born.
Happy anniversary to Lee and Frankie Cousin, 50-plus bonded years and still swinging high.
Praying for this Antichrist who is holding a position, that God will place him where he belongs.
