The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Now that Rockford is blessed with four restaurants, I think it is time they face up to a common problem. It’s the water.
We are grateful for an abundance of water for cleaning. But to serve it as a beverage or, heaven forbid, use it to make tea or coffee…it needs to be filtered. I don’t know; maybe sweet tea has so much gunk in it that you can’t taste the water.
You can’t taste the water. Hah! People that say that lack the sensibility of an old bird.
I have spent a long life drinking from local wells and springs and wonder how people can think that city water is better. I remember one old couple that built their garage over a spring and drank from it exclusively. I wanted to move in with them.
Little things matter, and the taste of water is no small thing. It can be one of rural life’s greatest blessings.
Keep warm, and keep your pipes thawed.
Love,
Buzzy
