On Sunday, November 9, at 2 p.m. many gathered around Weogufka’s beautiful Veterans’ Memorial Monument.
They were there to celebrate and honor all veterans who have given so very much for us all to have the freedom we now have.
Weogufka Neighborhood Watch would like to also thank each individual and group for your participation in making this special program a success!
The Weogufka Neighborhood Watch is responsible for the upkeep of the monument. If you are interested in having a name added to the monument please contact Mary Alyce Bennett at 256-267-6885 or Joey Moore at 205-294-4762.
The WNW group meets every third Thursday of the month for a potluck supper at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 6:30 p.m. It is held in the old Weogufka School lunchroom.
We try to have representation from all local and county organizations to keep everyone well informed. Everyone is welcome!
