On Monday, November 3, Central Elementary kindergarten students went on their fall field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Penton Farms in Verbena.
Students were able to learn at the petting zoo, pumpkin patch, corn pits, and a learning barn. Students also enjoyed the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, which boosts 50 varieties of pumpkins.
Thank you to kindergarten teachers Mrs. Alverson and Mrs. Simmons for organizing the fun and educational trip for our youngest students. Thank you, also, to the parents and grandparents who served as chaperones.
Everyone said it was a fantastic trip, and they are looking forward to more kindergarten field trips this year.
