School is off to a great start with students not wasting any time learning. Twelfth grade government students have been studying the origins of American government through readings and discussions.
Their culminating activity was to compete in teams to create a human timeline of people and places that influenced the American government, identifying, as well as explaining, the principle of influence. After competing in teams, students were assessed on their individual knowledge by creating a timeline using Google Slides. Students always enjoy active learning activities because they help them retain information and add an element of challenge and fun to learning.
