The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Oh my, how I appreciated Chuck Bradley’s column last week. It was a well-reasoned viewpoint against litter. Welcome to the bang-your-head-against-the-wall club, sir.
Although litter is a scourge on the landscape, there is no reason or even thought associated with it.
Rockford has seen an upswing in the restaurant business, with three, soon to be four, places open. I haven’t had a chance to sample Our Daily Bread, and I am eagerly waiting for some bar-b-que.
But: is all this good food going to hit our collective waistlines? You know that birds need to stay trim! I think Rockford needs a fitness center.
We don’t need a center geared toward pumping iron, but one geared toward our older population. We need a center where we can do our cardio indoors in the cool. We need to stretch, strengthen and do yoga.
Who can we recruit to run this? I would like to know.
Love,
Buzzy
