The Berman’s World History Museum provides an opportunity for ninth grade world history students to “Take a trip around the world!” right here in Alabama.
Students enjoy the two floors of displays and five exhibits as they complete a scavenger hunt book looking for items they learned about in class throughout the year. Once the students find the items they have to sketch them and then fill in the blanks to complete the captions in their scavenger hunt book. Pictured are students working on their sketches and captions of Napoleon’s chandelier, Morse Code, the Louisiana Purchase, and more.
You know it is a good field trip when you overhear students say things like, “This place is so cool; I am going to bring my parents here.”
