Central Elementary School students enjoy visiting the 2026 Central High School Science Fair.
Special to the News
The Central High School Science Fair was held on Tuesday, October 6, in the on-campus gym.
This year the seventh, eighth and ninth grade students participated. The students worked hard all nine weeks learning about the scientific method and putting it to use to solve a problem or answer a question by doing research, developing an experiment, performing the experiment, and creating a display board to share their results.
The Central Elementary students also had an opportunity to visit the science fair this year and were very well behaved as they viewed the exhibits with their teachers.
Congratulations to the following students. Each first place winner will receive $50, each second place winner will receive $40, and each third place winner will receive $30 during the nine weeks Academic Awards celebration.
