The first week in February was National School Counseling Week. This year’s theme was “School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive,” and that is definitely what our counselors do for our students, as well as our staff.
Counselors hold a special place in students’ hearts because sometimes they just need someone to talk to, plus they are always there to guide and encourage students in their future endeavors. Thank you to Mrs. Wade and Ms. Long for always going above and beyond for our students. Principal Lee and assistant principal Dr. Watson, along with students, presented Mrs. Wade and Ms. Long with gift baskets. Mrs. Lee added, “We truly appreciate everything that you do for us every day; we love you both.”
