Central Coosa’s Jobs for Alabama Graduates (JAG) students recently went to the Central District Career Development Conference at the Marriott Prattville Hotel and Conference Center at Capitol Hill in Prattville.
Our students competed in five categories, bringing home trophies in four categories. Congratulations to Queen Ballard who placed second in Financial Literacy, Katie Meeks who placed second in Prepared Speaking, Reagan Cardwell who placed third in Employability Skills, and the team of Kelsey McLaughlin, Karla Morales, Roderick Graham, and Caden Miller who placed third in Creative Decision Making.
The students will head to state competition at the end of this month, and as long as they maintain their top three standings, they will head to nationals in the spring.
Thank you to Debbie Phillips who coordinates the JAG program for Central Coosa. We look forward to following our students’ progress at both the state and national competitions. Go Cougars!
