Special to the News
The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office had a very successful turnout on Sunday at the swearing-in ceremony.
Sheriff Michael Howell was officially sworn in by Judge of Probate Richard Dean.
“First and foremost I want to thank God for allowing me to continue to serve the residents of Coosa County,” Howell stated. “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you and your family. I look forward to continuing to move the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office in a positive direction over the next four years. As always, if there is anything I can do to help you or your families please don’t hesitate to give me a call.”
Multiple deputies and reserve deputies were also sworn in by Howell, as well as the new chaplains, Matthew Reams and Christopher Todd.
