Alabama Association for Justice members to offer free advice regarding insurance claims, FEMA
Special to the News
The Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) announced Wednesday its “Lawyers Care” program for Alabama residents affected by last week’s severe weather.
“Lawyers Care” by ALAJ will match the affected individual with a local attorney who can answer insurance-related questions and assist with filing insurance claims and completing FEMA paperwork.
Those needing help through the free “Lawyers Care” program can fill out a request online at www.alabamajustice.org/?pg=WeCare or by phone at 334-262-4974.
“Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these storms, and we offer our prayers and time to help in the recovery process,” said Erik Heninger, president of the ALAJ.
The Alabama Association for Justice (ALAJ) is a plaintiffs’ attorney organization that represents the needs of consumers and business seeing redress through the courts. ALAJ and its sister organization, the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation, have donated more than $15 million to charitable causes in Alabama since their founding.
