Many veterans and family members came out to enjoy Rockford’s Veterans Day celebration supper with 110 in attendance. Three Coosa County men who served in World War II and the Korean War were given quilts of valor during a special presentation at the event. Mayor Scott White joined Dorothy Dunlap in presenting the special quilts to World War II veterans Joe Collins, Thomas Cleveland and James Sanford. The Coosa County schools’ Honor Guard presented the colors for the celebration, and Revenue Commissioner Debra Lamberth sang the national anthem. Photos submitted by the Town of Rockford
