Sidney Sheldon once said, “Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.” Coosa County residents are fortunate enough to have two libraries within the county, with the Rockford and Goodwater Public libraries. The Rockford Public Library, located inside Town Hall, has recently been remodeled and features murals by Megan Jones across the walls. Art covering a couple of walls in the children’s section features some beloved characters such as the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Thing 2, and Curious George.
