The Rockford Farm Market offers a way for area residents and passersby to enjoy fresh produce anytime. The stand, which is currently decorated for Independence Day, offers a variety of produce that changes with the season and availability. Some available produce has included green and red plums, various watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, okra, sweet potatoes, apples, peppers, peaches, blackberries, and more. In addition to accepting payment in the form of cash, check, debit/credit card, and Venmo, the stand offers a way for guests to buy produce anytime, whether from the stand or the cooler. The stand features an honor box where guests can drop off payments when the stand is closed, allowing its customers to stop by anytime. Rockford Farm Market is generally open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday, with the stand being closed Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. The produce stand is located at 9352 U.S. Highway 231, just north of Dollar General.
