The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
I am really looking forward to Rockford’s 250 Nation Celebration on June 27. The mayor and Town Council have put a lot of effort into planning quite a “do,” and it should be fun.
But, wait, it would be nice to celebrate our nation on July 4. It seems that in the past, the leaders decided that everyone would be out of town on the Fourth and to have the Independence Day celebration on another date.
My question is: Why can’t the leaders assume that the destination of choice would be people’s own community celebration? After all, leadership should be positive.
Think about it.
Love,
Buzzy
