2025 Deputy of the Year Ryan Brown

On December 18, Sheriff Michael Howell hosted the annual Coosa County Sheriff’s Office End of Year Review and Christmas Dinner.
In addition to reviewing accomplishments and statistics for the 2025 year, Howell took the opportunity to honor employees and volunteers and award some with plaques in recognition of their accomplishments and appreciation for their work.
During this event:

Deputy Ryan Brown was awarded the Deputy of the Year Award.

Jennifer Tindall was awarded the Employee of the Year award.

Officer Mike Watts was recognized for his dedication and service to Coosa County. He retired in December.

Reserve Deputy Sylvester Moon was awarded the Reserve Deputy of the Year award.

All Coosa County Reserve deputies were honored for their willingness to serve the residents of Coosa County and were presented with their new Sheriff Reserve badges.

The Coosa County Jail Ministry Team was presented with Certificates of Appreciation.
Thank you to all the Sheriff’s Office staff, reserves and volunteers for their hard work and dedication, and thank you, Coosa County, for your continued support.
