A good friend just passed. A lot of you knew him. Here’s a picture I snapped of him with a baby chick in his pocket. He was a character! My heart goes out to his family and friends.

Thank you, Ronnie, for telling me to call you any time I needed anything and meaning it, even though you were spread thin. It meant a lot to me to count you as a friend. I loved your energy and your attitude.

Thanks for the laughter, and thanks for the serious and mutually respectful conversations. Thanks for always vehemently supporting “The Coosa County News.” I’m grateful our paths crossed. Have some good fun in Heaven! We will sorely miss you.
