Special to the News
Central’s Life Skills class has been invited to be a part of many science labs this year taught by Mr. Mitchell.
So far our students have learned about germs and their transmission, they have made cheese (it was tasty), and they have tested a variety of foods to determine if they are carbohydrates, lipids, or starches.
We are looking forward to more labs this year. Our kids love being included with their peers for their science lessons.
A special thank you to Coosa County Schools science coach Shelly Wood for helping facilitate each lab with set up and organization. Mr. Mitchell and Mrs. Wood make learning about science fun for everyone. Thank you, paraprofessional Tabitha Hyatt, for sharing information and pictures.
