Special to the News
Coosa County Career Tech Center students recently attended the Career and Technical Student Organization Alabama Joint Leadership Development Conference, or JLDC, in Birmingham.
The conference prepares students for the workforce by providing leadership training, developing employability skills and exposing them to career opportunities.
The JLDC specifically aims to build a college and career-ready workforce, increase knowledge of career and technical education and help students connect with others in their fields.
Thank you to business information technology instructor Brett Thomas for coordinating the trip and sharing pictures and information.
