Alabama Goes to College’s Fall Alabama College Application Week was October 6-10. Central High School students participated in classroom guidance lessons throughout the week. In addition, they received individual and small group assistance completing college admissions applications from Central High School Counselor Misty Wade.
Each day during the week two colleges and/or universities were featured on the Cougar Broadcast Network morning broadcast highlighting program offerings and college life activities. As the culminating event for College Application Week, Mrs. Wade hosted Apps. & Appetizers for the senior class. Mrs. Wade was able to assist 41 seniors or 89% of the on-campus seniors applying to colleges/universities last week, completing a total of 158 applications. Thank you to Mrs. Wade for helping our students fulfill their post-secondary dreams.
