Friday afternoon’s parade; enjoyed by both elementary and high school students, as well as visitors; included 25 entries led by Grand Marshall Xavier Moon.
Moon is a 2013 graduate of Central High School who went on to become a professional basketball player. Moon serves as a role model for our students, that through clean living and self-discipline, no matter where you come from, you can achieve success.
The parade included the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office, athletes, Homecoming representatives in fancy cars, and class floats. Multiple people commented that this year’s floats were some of the best ever.
