The Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement (SAFE) has been a steadfast supporter of Central Coosa students.
SAFE already provides an after-school enrichment program at the elementary school at no cost to parents, as well as an ACT prep and workforce development program at the high school that students get paid to participate in after school.
Their latest contribution to the Central Coosa students was to make sure our students had the supplies they needed to start the school year successfully. SAFE provided a $200 check to both the elementary school and the high school to assist students in need of school supplies.
Thank you to SAFE representatives Donna Goodwin and Malia Brashea for visiting Central Coosa to present checks to Central Elementary principal Kara Forbus, along with CES SAFE director Shannon White and staff Ashley Hicks and Central High School principal Brandi Lee, and vice principal Dr. Andy Watson, along with CHS SAFE director Jaques Mitchell.
We are grateful for our partnership with SAFE and everything they do for our students, as well as the Central Coosa SAFE staff who serve our students after hours.
