The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Ruffle some feathers, indeed! I think some folks overlook the difference between negativity and criticism.
Buzzy is a social critic, commenting on community issues, never naming names unless someone deserves to be singled out for praise, often offering suggestions for improvement. So a short column, which is sometimes tongue-in-cheek, should not be taken personally or pettily.
This brings to mind a quote from our famous former columnist, John Rittmann: “I am critical of our failures as a community, because you cannot truly love something by only seeing the most attractive parts. Love is about taking the ugly and accepting it as a part of what you love, then supporting it to grow past that ugliness.”
Now, Buzzy would not use so many words in a sentence, but is still your eye in the sky.
Love,
Buzzy
