Central athletes and their families were invited to the annual Athletic Banquet to recognize the accomplishments of our athletes. Athletic Director Deborah Phillips opened the program with a welcome, and Student Government Association president Traci Cox led the attendees in the “Pledge of Allegiance” and blessing.
Principal Brandi Lee recognized our Scholar Athletes who not only excel athletically, but also academically. Athletes and their families enjoyed a meal and fellowship as each of the sports recognized their respective athletes. SGA members served cake and coffee to attendees throughout the evening. Superintendent of Education David Stover provided closing remarks.
Although it was a night for our athletes’ accomplishments to shine, we want to thank all our coaches who worked to prepare recognition items for their athletes and all the time they put into our athletes. Cougar Pride!
