Special to the News
The third annual Coosa County Night of Vision was a night of celebration, fundraising and expanding the village for those who have a passion for serving our students.
Attendees were able to hear testimonies from students, supporters and volunteers, as well as
support this year’s campaign. Thank you to student, Alyssa Woodfin, and mentors Mr. and Mrs. McCain for sharing their experiences with the attendees.
The goal of Empowered to Conquer, or ETC, is to provide opportunities for our students to participate in career development and mentorship programs that help ensure they have a career plan they are passionate about fulfilling, along with the social and emotional maturity to last when they achieve it.
Students at Central have the opportunity to participate in the Limitless Groups; which is a semester long, curriculum-based program that equips students for success during and after high school; or Limitless Mentoring, which is a year-long mentorship program providing students with guidance and encouragement as they work to achieve their goals.
ETC also has an annual youth retreat called Limitless Retreat in the summer to help build on the encouragement students received during the school year.
Brittany Leonard Hogan, the director of ETC and a Central graduate herself, is pictured with students Alyssa Woodfin and Reese Lee.
