The Legislature sure has been busy. Each house has introduced hundreds of bills, and I don’t know how many are finished, or passed in final form. And they have five days to go at press time.
They even introduced a bill to establish a study commission about the publishing of public works notices. This allows them to pass on the other two bills about publishing public works notices. Lost yet? I am, even though this has been my favorite subject since the session started.
Every district wants something, and every legislator wants to be heard.
Local newspapers help us make sense of it all. Thank you, community news editors. We hear you. I hope the Legislature does, as well.
