On Tuesday Westwater Resources Inc. announced that its Kellyton Graphite Processing Plant received certifications under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 for its quality management system, which covers production, shipping, maintenance, R&D/lab, purchasing, scheduling, and human resources.
“Over the past year, our company has made significant advancements and investments in its Kellyton Graphite Processing Plant, and these ISO certifications are another step in our plan to complete and commission this facility,” said John Strickland, director of operations at Kellyton. “Certifying our processes was an important goal to meet our commitments to customers, and these certifications establish the company as a leading supplier of American-made, battery-grade, natural graphite anode materials.”
By meeting the extensive criteria set out by ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, Westwater Resources has formally demonstrated to its customers its ability to deliver consistent, high-quality products and services through strict adherence to industry standards and ongoing enhancement of internal quality control processes.
