The holidays are a great opportunity to show our staff how much their hard work and extra efforts are appreciated. Staff and their significant others were invited to wear festive attire and come out to enjoy dinner, door prizes, dancing, and fellowship. Attendees enjoyed a ribeye steak with sautéed mushrooms, wedge salad, fully loaded baked potato, roll, cake, coffee, and punch.
There were two grand prize drawings this year, with Central Elementary School’s Mrs. Newsome and Coosa County Schools science coach Shelley Wood each winning a large screen television. Other door prizes included a pressure cooker, tool set and Cuppa Grace gift card. After dinner, dessert and door prizes the staff enjoyed dancing and fellowship.
Thank you to the Weogufka Family Worship Center and pastors Tommy Thornton and Phillip Alverson for providing the venue for our celebration; the employees were very appreciative.
We wish all our staff a well deserved time of rest and relaxation during Christmas break, and we look forward to a successful 2025 at Coosa County schools thanks to all your hard work.
