The annual CES Fall Festival was fun for all who came. This year’s Fall Festival featured new games that the kids loved and played multiple times.
The parents also had a blast trying to win silent auction baskets which were put together by each grade with themes ranging from baking to game night. The festival also included a cake walk with some very yummy treats, and everyone left a winner with some candy.
The kids also enjoyed the book walk as symbols on their chair were called and they got to pick a gently used book of their choice. Attendees enjoyed hot dogs, drinks and chips with Pelicans on hand to sell their icy treats, as well.
Mrs Baty set up an information table on the Literacy Act, and Mrs. Adams had an estimation station to share information about the Numeracy Act, which included a candy jar guessing game.
This year’s Fall Festival was a very fun event for students, parents, teachers, and our community. Thank you to the area businesses and individuals who donated baskets, candy, baked items, and cash to make the festival a success. Thank you, also, to CES PTO president April Honeycutt for organizing the event and sharing pictures and information.
