ARRESTS
On October 28, Sergeant Rudd arrested James Anthony Newton, a citizen of Kellyton, on the charge of Harassment-Family. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
On October 30, Investigator Ward arrested Brandon Scott Acklin, a citizen of Sylacauga, on the charges of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle X 3, Theft of property(over $2,500), Theft of Property 3rd (less than $500), and Theft of Property 4th. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $42,500 bond.
On October 30, Investigator Ward arrested Christopher Dylan Green, a citizen of Childersburg, on the charges of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle X 3, Theft of property (over $2,500), Theft of Property 3rd (less than $500), and Theft of Property 4th. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $42,500 bond.

On October 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Laurie Ann Road after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
STEWARTVILLE
On October 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 56 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies found the vehicle to be empty. The vehicle was logged for information purposes.
On October 29th, Deputies were dispatched to Hawthorns Road after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported; Scene was turned over to ALEA.
On October 31st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Lovette Lane after receiving reports of shots fired. Deputies spoke to parties involved, and resolved the issue without incident; no report was needed.
On November 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to Weathers Lane after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputies spoke to subject and determined everything was okay.
WEOGUFKA
On October 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. Subject left scene prior to medical personnel arrival. The subject was identified and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
HANOVER
On October 31st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies responded and found everything to be okay.
On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Deputies caught up with vehicle but did not observe it driving recklessly; No further action was taken.
On November 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a reckless driver. Deputies caught up with vehicle but did not observe it driving recklessly; No further action was taken.
MT OLIVE
On October 31st, Deputies were dispatched to McDaniel Trail after receiving reports of an unwanted person. A report was taken for information purposes.
On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to McDaniel Trail after receiving a request for a citizen assist. The event was completed prior to deputies arrival; help was no longer needed.

On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 22 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies spoke to the subject and requested they leave the area; they complied.

On November 3rd, Deputies were dispatched to Narrows Point after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies arrived and determined the alarm to be false.
On October 31st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 304 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies searched for subjects but negative contact was made.

On November 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies searched for subjects but negative contact was made.
KELLYTON
On October 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 126 after receiving reports of a domestic in progress. Deputies arrived, spoke to both parties and advised them how to proceed.
On November 1st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 40 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. Deputies arrived; no injuries were sustained; Scene was turned over to ALEA.

On October 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 19 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies spoke to subject and determined everything was okay.

COTTAGE GROVE/HISSOP
On October 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 103 after receiving reports of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
SPEED
On October 29th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a request for assistance with a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
