The Equality Methodist Church is hosting its Annual Gospel on the Green Sunday, August 4.
Doors open at 4 p.m., and music begins at 5 p.m. Concessions will be available.
Gospel on the Green, a popular local community event in Equality, always delivers a fun day of fellowship and music, with special performances by Holy Destiny Quartet from Clanton.
Equality Methodist Church is located at 281 Alabama Highway 259, off Highway 9 in Equality.
“We are very pleased with our church and community support for our annual summertime musical event,” Pastor Wayne Cowhick commented. “We look forward to hosting Gospel on the Green for many more years.”
Cowhick further mentioned, “We partner with our local communities and nearby churches through worship and prayer time, singing hymns and other fun experiences during the night.”
Equality Methodist Church is connecting with our local community and surrounding areas such as Alexander City, Coosa County areas, Rockford, Santuck, Central, Eclectic, and other churches and groups in neighboring cities.
Gospel on the Green is open to the public. Everyone is welcome! Bring along friends, family and neighbors.
