Special to the News
Macedonia Baptist Church in Stewartville invites everyone to join them Saturday, July 27, for a one-day Vacation Bible School, with the church having a class for every age.
Adults will be led by father and son, Chris and Brennen Smith. Between classes there will be croquet and cornhole. Adults will also have the option of painting their own masterpiece!
Classes for other ages include preschool, elementary and high school. They will have numerous activities between classes, as well. It’s going to be great!
At the end of the evening you will have the opportunity to dunk our pastor, James Gallops, and VBS director in the dunking booth, as well as enjoy a water gun fight and yummy snacks.
Bring the family and enjoy the day with us as we focus on “God’s rock-solid truth in a world of shifting sands!”
The on-day VBS will start at 8 a.m. and end at approximately 4 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, with breakfast being served between 8 and 8:45 a.m.
Macedonia Baptist Church is located in the Stewartville community at 756 Coosa County Road 150, Sylacauga, 35151.
