Thank you to the Coosa Valley Resource Conservation and Development Council for awarding $3,500 to The J.D. Thompson Alumni Association.
The money was used to afford termite treatment and fungus control as a part of the J.D. Thompson Alumni Building Improvement Project. This Rosenwald School had not been treated for termites.
Coosa Valley RC&D grant funds were only spent on items included and approved in the project proposal. Through them, these funds allowed us to complete this much-needed improvement so we can continue to serve the community through various events.
Thank you to the director and Board of the Coosa Valley RC&D for providing this needed funding to assist in the building’s improvement project.
