Stanley Eugene Tucker

 

Stanley Eugene Tucker, 78, passed away on October 10, 2026, at UAB Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on February 27, 1948, in Sylacauga.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Hester Tucker; daughter, Tina Tucker Franklin (Jamie); chosen son, Brian Scott Patterson; bonus daughter, Kelly Bullard (Jarrod); his 6 grandchildren, Josh Franklin (Samantha), Lauren Franklin (Tommy), Loren Richardson, Krissy Campbell (Wynn), Allison Pugh, and Bronson Franklin; his great-grandchildren, Eli Franklin, Nora Rhodes, Ryder Franklin, Gunner Campbell, Ayler Rhodes, Harrison Franklin, Houston Franklin, Cameron Charles; his chosen grandchildren, Amanda, Cassidy, Abby, and Katlyn Patterson; his chosen brothers and sisters, Melissa and Gilbert Hammonds, Kathy and Johnny Hay, Lewis and Jessie Franklin, and Martha and Larry Jefferson; his bonus mother, Agnes Franklin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Eugene and Betty Jo Tucker; his sister, Sheila Tucker; his brother, Terry Wayne Tucker; his sister-in-law, Connie Tucker; his special cousin, Teresa Shell; and his chosen brother, Keith Franklin.

Visitation was held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, Sylacauga, on October 15, 2026, followed by the funeral service in Radney-Smith Chapel.

Pallbearers were Tony Goggins, Scott Patterson, Jarret Giddens, Bubba Green, Josh Franklin, Wynn Campbell, Mike Richardson, Charlie Radford, and Jeromie Hay; with Richard “Pollock” Pesseackey serving as honorary pallbearer.

Interment was at Hollins Cemetery, 1052 Valley Grove Road, Goodwater, 35072.
