Dear Editor,
This is a follow-up on “What the Flock is happening in Rockford?” It doesn’t matter which tech company’s cameras show up on our streets. They all share the same problems: They are trying to profit off invading our privacy.
No Flock. No ALPRs. No exceptions. No excuses.
Tell your local Rockford leaders to get these creepy cameras out of our community.
The next Town Hall meeting is Tuesday, October 20, at 6 p.m. I’ll be there to talk about this story. Show up. Let your voice be heard.
Let’s at least get it to a referendum (vote).
Thanks for your attention,
Larry Johnson
Rockford, Ala.
P.S. It was told to me that I don’t live in the Town of Rockford and why should I care about why the cameras are there. My address ZIP code is 35136. I do my banking, shopping, insurance needs, pay my taxes, and buy my gas in town. That’s why I’m proud to call my home Rockford, Alabama, 35136.
