There are nice perches around town for an old bird to rest and enjoy watching the activity below. BUT, watching the 4-way stop is frightening!!
Cars and trucks barely pause, or even go right through without a hint of brake lights! Makes me worry about families that take walks through Rockford.
If those Flock cameras that are now standing beyond the town limits of Rockford could be placed watching the 4-way, would it help the town be safer from careless drivers? It seems the big cities catch folks breaking driving laws that way. Could our town stand up for following safe driving?
I’ll be your eye in the sky, ‘cause I don’t want to sit near a dangerous spot on the ground.
