Central High School announces September Students of the Month

 

Ryleigh Norris is a wonderful seventh grade student who brings dedication, kindness and a positive attitude to school each day. She is the daughter of Rachael and Chris Norris and lives in the Waterford community. One of her favorite things about school is reading. English is her favorite subject because she genuinely loves getting lost in a good book, especially books and novels that allow her imagination to explore new stories and adventures.

Ryleigh’s teachers recognize her as a focused and hardworking student who always gives her best effort in class. She is dependable, kind and always willing to help her peers when they need a little extra assistance. Her teachers nominated her for Student of the Month because of her strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to be there for others.

Looking toward the future, Ryleigh dreams of becoming a pediatric nurse, where her caring nature and desire to help others will undoubtedly make a difference in the lives of children and their families. With her determination and compassionate spirit, she is already taking important steps toward a bright future.

 

 

Elena Robinson is an enthusiastic eighth grade student who stays busy both in and out of the classroom. She is the daughter of Jaci and Drew Robinson and lives in the Rockford community and attends Kellyton Baptist Church with her family. Her favorite subjects are science and Family and Consumer Sciences because she loves conducting experiments and learning about different careers and jobs.

Outside of the classroom, Elena is very involved at Central High School. She enjoys dance, is a member of the CHS Dance Team and serves as the manager for the CHS Volleyball team.

Elena’s teachers describe her as a responsible, dependable and involved student who takes pride in being part of the CHS community. She is always prepared for class and is quick to lend a helping hand to her classmates. Her involvement in school activities, positive attitude and willingness to help others make her a wonderful role model for her peers.

Looking toward the future, Elena plans to attend college and pursue her dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. With her enthusiasm, dedication and caring personality, she is sure to make a positive difference in the lives of the students she will teach in the future.

 

Bentley Williams is a ninth grade student at Central High School and the son of Jessica McDaniel. Bentley has a genuine curiosity about the world around him, which makes science his favorite subject. He enjoys learning about science and discovering how things work. Outside the classroom, Bentley is a proud member of the Central High School baseball team, where he enjoys being part of a team and representing his school.

Bentley has made tremendous strides this year, and his teachers have noticed how much he has matured. He has become more focused in class and is working very hard to reach his goals. Beyond his academic and athletic interests, one thing is especially important to Bentley – his love for his mom. Looking toward the future, he plans on becoming a scientist for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). With his growing maturity, determination, curiosity, and love of science, Bentley is well on his way toward reaching the stars.

 

Bryar Harmon is a tenth grade student at Central High School and the son of Ragan Sims. He is a hardworking and respectful student who takes pride in doing his best each day. His favorite subject is history because he enjoys learning about events from the past and discovering how they have shaped the world we live in today. While he has not yet decided exactly what he would like to pursue in the future, he is taking the time to explore his interests and discover the path that is right for him.

Bryar’s teachers describe him as very hardworking, mature and considerate. He can always be counted on to be where he is supposed to be and to handle himself with respect. He listens, follows directions and consistently demonstrates a positive attitude.

His responsible nature and strong character make him a dependable student and a great example for his peers. With his strong work ethic and mature outlook, Bryar has a bright future ahead, no matter which path he ultimately chooses.

 

Grayson Kelly is an outstanding eleventh grade student who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic and tremendous school spirit to Central High School each day. He is the son of Anah and Michael Kelly and lives in the Kellyton community. He is a member of Paradise Mission Church.

Grayson’s favorite subject is pre-calculus because it is his strongest subject, and he enjoys the challenge of putting his skills to work. Outside the classroom, he stays active as a member of the football and track and field teams. He enjoys participating in school sports and takes pride in being a Central High School Cougar.

Grayson is known by his teachers as someone who works hard every day and sets an excellent example for those around him. He is always on task, willing to lend a helping hand and respectful of both himself and others. His positive attitude, dedication and genuine kindness make him a joy to have in class. With his strong academic abilities and determination, Grayson has exciting goals for the future. He plans to attend a four-year college and pursue a career as a software engineer. His hard work and commitment are sure to help him reach those goals and make a lasting impact wherever his future takes him.

 

 

Kenyon Richardson is an outstanding twelfth grade student at Central High School who has made the most of his high school experience. He is the son of Shavon and Kenyarta Richardson and lives in the Goodwater community. He attends Marietta Baptist Church and stays busy both in the classroom and through his many extracurricular activities.

His favorite subjects are anatomy and physiology, partly because he enjoys learning about the human body and, of course, because he says he has the “best teacher ever!” Kenyon is a dedicated student-athlete who participates in CHS basketball, football and baseball. He is also involved in Student Government Association, Beta Club, Key Club, FBLA, and Media Club.

Kenyon’s teachers describe him as an all-around good student who consistently works hard and keeps his grades up. He is always willing to help with school projects, represents Central High School both in the classroom and on the playing field and treats staff members with respect. His involvement, dependability and positive attitude have made him a valued member of the CHS family.

After graduation, Kenyon plans to join the Air National Guard while attending Southern Union College to earn his Radiologic Technician Certification. With his strong work ethic, leadership skills and commitment to serving others, Kenyon is well prepared to take on the exciting opportunities that await him after high school.
