Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) Narcotics and Law Enforcement Services Division agents arrested Nikki Davenport, also known as “Nikki D,” on Tuesday, August 25, at approximately 6:30 p.m.
The arrest was the culmination of an investigation into the alleged movement of illegal narcotics and contraband into Alabama’s correctional system.
Agents seized approximately 305 grams of synthetic cannabinoids, 116 grams of Flakka and a drone
during the operation. Davenport is expected to face two trafficking charges and has been transported
to the Morgan County Jail.
Davenport has been a regular inmate visitor at ADOC. Because of security concerns, she is now banned
from entering any ADOC facility.
ADOC commends the Decatur Police Department for its assistance and cooperation in helping agents put this case together. This partnership demonstrates the importance of local and state law enforcement working together to protect Alabama’s correctional facilities.
