Smith was charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, possession of a controlled substance (buprenorphine), possession of a controlled substance (dexmethylphenidate), possession of a controlled substance (Xanax), possession of a controlled substance (phentermine), possession of a controlled substance (clonazepam), possession of a controlled substance (alprazolam), possession of a controlled substance (hydroxybutyric acid), second-degree possession of marijuana, and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.
Smith’s bond for all 10 charges, including the seven controlled-substance possession charges, was set at a total of $67,500.
He was released on bond later the same day to await trial.
