If the spring jamboree game is any indication, Central football is going to fill Keith Bullard Stadium this fall as the football program shows continual signs of strengthening. The spring game pitted 2A Central against 3A Childersburg with a score of 46-20.
The first touchdown of the game was rush by Zacci Lauderdale on a 30-yard run, and the second scored by a pass caught by Javon Peterson from a 38-yard pass thrown by Waylon Chapman. The next TD was thrown by Javon Peterson to Brylon Murray, bringing the score to 22 to 20 at half.
Peterson led the team with four touchdowns, Lauderdale led the team in rushing for 78 yards, and Matthew McCain led the team with eight tackles.
