Special to the News
Central Coosa celebrated their youngest graduates with a kindergarten graduation service. The Central High School senior graduates led the Central Elementary kindergarten graduates from their classrooms to their ceremony.
Sixty-three kindergartners, as well as family and faculty, celebrated the beginning of their educational journey.
After Principal Forbus welcomed everyone and “The Pledge of Allegiance” was recited, the kindergartners sang “We’ve got the Whole World in our Hands” and “Skinnamarink,” led by band director Daryl Ingram.
The kindergartners were then awarded their diplomas from Principal Forbus. A special thank you to our kindergarten teachers who provided a strong foundation for our youngest learners, Mrs. Alverson, Ms. Brewer, Mrs. Simmons, and Mrs. Carlton. Before we know it, we will be celebrating their senior graduation.
Thank you to Maressa Ware for providing pictures.
