School Lunch Hero Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in May to recognize school nutrition professionals for their dedication to nourishing students, managing allergies and providing friendly service. Established in 2013, it highlights the vital role cafeteria staff play.
We appreciate the hard work the Central Coosa lunchroom staff does every day preparing and serving 500 breakfast meals, 650 lunch meals and 100 after-school meals, all of which are healthy, nutritious and tasty meals for our students and staff, while following strict guidelines.
