Pastor Emma Jean Hoyle recently celebrated her ninetieth birthday with family and friends.
Praise God for 90 years of blessings for Pastor and overseer Mrs. Emma Jean Hoyle, who celebrated her 90th birthday on January 2.
She was honored and surprised on Saturday, January 10, by her children, family and friends at the Bledso Community Center in Alexander City with people coming from near and far to honor this woman of God who is the pastor of House of Prayer Apostolic Church of Promise in Alexander City and also overseer of Alabama District 28-B.
Pastor Hoyle is a living example of Psalms 92:13-14. She says having Jesus in her life made the difference for the 90 years here on Earth. Her heart’s desire is to be in Jesus as an egg stirred up in bread, inseparable.
She has been pastoring since 1978 and is still on the battlefield for the Lord. Psalm 92:13-14 reads, “For they are transplanted into the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.”
Mother Hoyle has had a life well lived at 90 years young! Happy birthday, and many more great ones to come! We love you.
Happy birthday to all other January born.
In memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. – happy birthday January 15. Hope, justice, love, and perseverance.
King’s most famous quote: “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
“In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
“It is not possible to be in favor of justice for some people and not be in favor of justice for all people.”
Dr. King’s legacy lives on, and we love him. May God bless him, even laying down. Jesus laid down, but He got up! Glory to His name. Dr. King is up, too! And we better get up and speak.
“Silence is a defect.”
We are praying for uneducated leaders and uneducated voters.
