The Sheriff’s Office continues to make arrests for probation violations and failure to appear charges.
On October 20, Charity Lynn Hamilton; 39 years old, of Sylacauga; was arrested by Chief Deputy Scott Hammond for probation violation relating to a reckless endangerment charge. She remains in custody at the Coosa County Jail with no bond for her probation violation charge.
On October 22, Deputy Brown went to Talladega County Jail to pick up 50-year-old Justin Wade Ward of Alabaster. He was arrested for failure to appear on a third-degree burglary charge.
Ward was released on a $500 cash bond on October 24 to await trial.
On November 4, Lt. Moon arrested Dylan Jakob Hay; 25 years old, of Sylacauga; at the courthouse for a probation violation charge. He was released the same day on a written court order.
On November 10, Deputy Parker was dispatched to meet Alexander City Police Department for an active warrant on 47-year-old Joseph Lee Lewis of the Ray community. He was arrested and charged with failure to appear on a second-degree theft of property charge.
Lewis was released on bond on November 13 to await trial.
