The Goodwater Youth Development Center demonstrated the fall spirit by hosting a pumpkin decorating contest.
All businesses in Goodwater were invited to participate in the pumpkin contest and were encouraged to decorate their pumpkins in creative fun or spooky ways.
Pumpkins were judged for creativity, effort and theme. First, second and third place winners were announced Monday and recognized for their participation.
First place was awarded to Alabama One Credit Union for its pumpkin spice latte decorated pumpkin.
Second place went to Alabama Paper Supply with a bathtime themed pumpkin, and third place went to Mary Kay consultant Zenobia Kelly with her Mary Kay self-care themed pumpkin.
The Goodwater Youth Development Center thanks all the businesses who participated and showed their festive side this season.

First place: Alabama One Credit Union

Second place: Alabama Paper Supply

Third place: Zenobia Kelly, Mary Kay consultant
