The Lady Cougar varsity volleyball team recognized their four senior players, as well as their three volunteer managers and one Quick Server concession worker, in a ceremony during their game against B.B. Comer this week.
The ceremony started by recognizing the three senior volleyball managers, Hannah Hyatt, Henley Jennings and Reese Lee, who also served as Quick Server concession workers last year, as well as senior Emma Jones who served as a Quick Server concession worker this year.
The Lady Cougars then recognized senior volleyball players.
Ruby Burks has played volleyball for five years and was escorted by her parents, Beverly and Chris Burks.
Re’Niyah Gibbs has played volleyball for six years and was joined by her parents, Jeaniah Moon and David Gibbs.
Kelsey Sizemore has played volleyball for two years and was escorted by her parents, Tabitha and Aaron Sizemore.
Meori Smith has played volleyball for six years and was escorted by her mom, Latesha Kelley; her nana, Teresa Kelley; and her cousin, Kenyatta Kelley.
Congratulations, seniors, and thank you to the parents and families for supporting the Lady Cougar volleyball program, as well as creating the awesome static displays commemorating their daughters’ time as a Central volleyball player.
Lastly thank you to head coach Chris Elliott, as well as assistant coaches Clay Shearer and Jenny Kimbrell, for the countless hours you have devoted to our athletes. Go Cougars!
