A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:48 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, has claimed the life of a Wetumpka man.
Matthew C. Palmgren, 54, was fatally injured when the 2015 Ford F-250 pickup that he was driving left the roadway and overturned. Palmgren was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 111 near the 11-mile marker, approximately nine miles south of Wetumpka, in Elmore County.
Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
