Congratulations to the Central High School class of 2025 valedictorian, Izabel Whaley.
Izabel is the daughter of Brian and Shelly Whaley. Izabel lives in the Rockford community.
Izabel has been a dual enrolled student at Central Alabama Community College since tenth grade. She has already earned 42 credit hours towards her associate degree at no cost to her thanks to funding for dual enrolled students from Coosa County schools.
While in high school, Izabel has also maintained a part-time job and served as a Homecoming Representative for her class all four years of high school.
After graduation, Izabel plans to transfer to Wallace State Community College in Hanceville to complete their Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. She is interested in a career in pediatric cardiovascular sonography.
Izabel shared the following quote from Mr. Rogers, “Often when you thinking you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.”
