ARRESTS
On January 27, Deputy Payton arrested Robin Shaylin Speaks, a citizen of Sylacauga, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $1,000 bond.
On January 28, Investigator Ward arrested Barry Dixon Limbaugh Jr., a citizen of Dadeville, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $200 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On January 30th, Deputies and Coosa EMS were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. Medical personnel tended to the occupants of the vehicles and the scene was turned over to ALEA.
On February 1st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies searched the area, but negative contact was made with the vehicle.
HANOVER
On January 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, A report was taken.
On January 30th, Deputies and Coosa EMS were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving a request for a citizen assist. Medical personnel tended to the citizen; no report was needed.
On January 31st, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 49 after receiving reports of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was towed, and a report was taken.
On January 31st, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies made contact with the subject and assisted the citizen without incident.
KENYO
On February 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 42 after receiving reports of an Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. Deputies stood by while the vehicle owner recovered the vehicle.
GOODWATER
On January 31st, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving a request to assist another agency. Deputies assisted Goodwater EMS without incident.
KELLYTON
On January 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 77 after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies arrived and found the home to be secure.
On January 30th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving reports of an unwanted person. Deputies spoke with the subjects and determined that the event was a civil matter. Advice was given; no report needed.
On February 2nd, Deputies and Coosa EMS were dispatched to Hollywood Lane after receiving a request for medical assistance. The Coroner was notified, and a report was taken.
RICHVILLE
On January 29th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving a request for a citizen assist. Deputies assisted the citizen without incident.
ROCKFORD
On January 27th, Deputies and Coosa EMS were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a request for medical assistance. The Coroner was notified, and a report was taken.
On January 27th, Deputies were dispatched to Smith Street after receiving a request for a welfare check. The deputies spoke with the subject and found them to be okay.
On January 29th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. A report was taken.
On January 30th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a request for a citizen assist. Negative contact was made with the subject.
SPEED
On January 27th, Deputies, Richville First Responders, Rockford First Responders, and Coosa EMS were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving a request for medical assistance. The coroner was notified, and a report was taken.
COTTAGE GROVE/HISSOP
On February 1st, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies arrived and the home was found to be secure.
On February 2nd, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 30 after receiving a request for a citizen assist. Negative contact was made with the subject.
